Our Mission
College Leadership, Mission and Vision
The College of Wooster is a private, independent liberal arts college. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, whose members are elected to staggered three-year terms, with one third of the board elected each year. The president of the College is an ex officio member of the Board.
Dr. Anne E. McCall is the thirteenth president of The College of Wooster. In addition to serving as president, she is also a tenured professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies. She took office on July 1, 2023.
The president works with and is supported by a cabinet that includes the provost, the vice president for student affairs and dean of students, the vice president for finance and business, the vice president for advancement, the vice president for enrollment management, the vice president for marketing and communications, the senior director of information technology, the vice president for people, culture, and talent, the director of athletics and physical education, and other senior administrators.
